Always looking to break new ground, she is a key collaborator on the

Docs for Change Project - a disruptive initiative from Catalyst and Knix

designed to back women-generated feature documentaries.  Vibika is

currently producing its inaugural project, The Pink Pill with Aisling Chin-Yee

(No Ordinary Man) directing.

Prior to this, Vibika was executive producer on Carolyn Taylor's (The Baroness Von Sketch Show) one-of-a-kind figure skating docu-comedy series for Crave, I Have Nothing.  The first season of the series was nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards with a win for Best Guest Performance for Mae Martin.  In close collaboration with Taylor, Vibika is now leading development with Crave on season 2 of the series, among a selection of other unscripted and documentary projects.

Career highlights include a decade as head commissioning executive for multiple channels at Corus Entertainment where she guided the creation of lifestyle juggernauts Property Brothers and Love It or List It, among other audience favourites.  She then went on to lead the unscripted strategy at Force Four Entertainment followed by eOne and Our House Media.  Her work has been seen around the world on platforms such as Discovery+, CBC, Netflix, CTV, History Channel, HGTV, Food Network, W Network, OWN, CMT, ABC Spark, Amazon Prime and more.

Over the past two decades as network executive and producer Vibika has developed, produced and commissioned some of the best-known unscripted brands and doc series including Hockey Wives and Building Off the Grid. She’s adapted hit formats for domestic audiences such as Come Dine with Me, Undercover Boss and Back in Time for Dinner. She’s helped build talent into household names like Jonathan and Drew Scott, Hillary Farr and David Visentin and collaborated with the likes of chef Chuck Hughes, comedian Shaun Majumder; rock legends Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed; and Olympic gold-medal figure skaters Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir.

Vibika regularly shares her industry knowledge and experience on advisory boards, panels and juries. She mentors emerging and early career producers and creators, informally and through organizations like WIFT and Realscreen.  She currently sits on the board at Canoe FM, a community radio station in Haliburton, Ontario.

Her work extends to the not for profit and charity sector, volunteering her time and services with organizations like Elizabeth Fry, Race for Humanity and three years as the founding board chair of aftermetoo - a charitable organization supporting survivors of workplace sexual harassment.

Vibika lives in Toronto with her husband and dog, Geraldine.  She's also learning to play the ukulele.
